Dr. Shariq Khoja. MBBS.MSc.PhD (eHealth)

Dr Shariq Khoja is an Assistant Professor at the department of Community Health Sciences (CHS) and Coordinator eHealth Programme at Aga Khan University Hospital. He has an extensive background and interest in using eHealth technologies to facilitate health care services and education. His research focuses on garnering support for eHealth implementation in developing countries and its policy-making processes. Dr Khoja is currently leading the PAN Asian Collaboration for evidence-based e-Health Adoption and Application (PANACeA) project, which supports joint research across 17 Asian countries. He also leads eHealth planning for the Aga Khan Development Network in several countries of Asia and Africa. Dr. Khoja played a leading role in the formation of eHealth Association of Pakistan, and currently works as its General Secretary. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary, Canada.
